Acl reconstruction- anterior cruciate ligament is main stabiliser of the knee . Important ligament which provide stability while running , jumping , playing . Contact sports , fall from two wheelers are commonest causes for ACL injury . Reconstruction of this ligament using semitendinosis graft is arthroscopic procedure required for this injury. As this surgery is arthroscopic procedure / key hole surgery , patient can go home on very next day with full weight bearing walking . Start his routine activity within 15 days and he has to follow physiotherapy schedule for 6-8 wks to strengthen the new ligament .
